 Generally speaking, the curriculum is a hub of all the school activities. A curriculum is a plan of the school that includes experiences for the learners. Hence, the curriculum is at the heart of teaching and learning. A curriculum is a tool for achieving educational objectives. A particular curriculum also reflects the ideological, philosophical, and social values of a given society or nation.

Curriculum refers to all the organized courses, activities, and experiences which students have under the direction of the school, whether in the classroom or not.

Moreover, the curriculum provides guidelines for students. A major concern of the curriculum is a positive change in behavior.

  8. The curriculum should be creative, critical, and flexible in order to achieve the desired outputs.
  9. An effective curriculum always responds to learners' interests, psychological needs, and abilities.
  10. A good curriculum offers room for its development and improvement as and when required.
  11. A standard curriculum should ensure the personal and professional development of the learners because incompetency is a form of corruption. A curriculum is a reflection of its society and heritage.
  12. A curriculum is a guide map for your course of action and direction.
